Organising Uttar Pradesh, district by district

The Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) is the state unit of the Indian National Congress, working across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh on issues of social justice, employment, farmer welfare, and constitutional values.

This membership drive is aimed at strengthening the party's booth-level and district organisation ahead of upcoming elections, bringing in new members, block and district office-bearers, and volunteers.

Rajendra Pal Gautam

Rajendra Pal Gautam is a prominent Dalit leader, lawyer, and social activist who has served as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Delhi and as MLA from Seemapuri. He joined the Indian National Congress in 2024 and was appointed Chairman of the AICC's SC Department in June 2025.

He currently serves as the AICC in-charge for the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, leading the party's organisational work and membership drive across the state.
